Drive of Motorized Mobile Storage Systems
- The electric AC motor used in system depending on design requirement
- Planetary type Gearbox used to adjust the torque and speed of motor to match the requirement of storage unit
- Wheels / Rollers attached to the bottom of storage unit
- Drive shaft connects the motor or gearbox to the wheels / Rollers of storage system
- VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) used to control speed and torque of motor performance leading to improve efficiency, energy savings and extended motor life
Safety Features And Sensors
- ‘Photoelectric sensors’ like Diffuse sensors, curtain sensors, light beam sensors, through beams sensors are used to ensure that the pathway is clear before the unit continues to move
